I am currently a Research Scientist at Facebook AI. My research focuses on speech and NLP.

Prior to Facebook, I was a Research Scientist at Xtal Inc. I worked on lithography mask optimization using deep learning.

Prior to Xtal, I was an intern at Toyota InfoTechnology Center in US. I worked on self-driving and driving assistance projects.

I obtained my Ph.D. in Physics at Rice University, advised by Prof. Peter Nordlander. I worked on computational and theoretical modeling of plasmonics and nanophotonics. I obtained my B.S. at Nanjing University.

My major interests are machine learning and deep learning especially the applications in nature language and image.
